Office 365 Groups Activity Report
In this post, I will show you how you can view the usage activity of your Office 365 Groups. In the Office 365 groups report, you can gain insights into the activity of Office 365 groups in your organization and see how many Office 365 groups are being created and used.
To get started, navigate to Office 365 Admin Portal, the scroll down to Reports.
Then click in Usage
From the usage page, click on select a report
Then select Office 365 and click on Groups Activity
From the Groups Activity page, you will have a view of all the current Groups as well as the following information.
- Group name
- Last activity date
- Email received
- Mailbox total items
You also have the option to export the group activity by clicking on “Export”. A csv file will automatically download with the same information as displayed on top.
This is a quick way for IT staff to view the current usage of the Groups in their Office 365 environment.
