  • Choose a resource group and region. The region you select will determine the location where your tenant ID and usage data, such as site names, will be stored.

  • Carefully review and accept the Microsoft Syntex pay-as-you-go terms of service. Terms can be found here
  • Finally, click on the “Save” button to confirm and save your billing configuration settings.
  • On the “Use content AI with Microsoft Syntex” page, click on “Manage Microsoft Syntex.”

  •      Among the list of available products, choose “Backup Preview.”

  • By default, this feature is deactivated. To enable Microsoft 365 Backup for your organization, simply click on “Turn on.

  • Click on Save, to enable the Backup Preview feature.

  • After successful enabling the feature, you will see the following screen.

  • Take a moment to carefully review the terms of service that are relevant to Microsoft 365 Backup here.

Select Go to Microsoft 365 Backup to start setting up Microsoft 365 Backup on OneDrive, SharePoint, or Exchange.
