How to create a Private Teams Channel
In this short post, I will show you how you can create a Private Teams Channel.
To get started Launch your Team Client and navigate to Teams.
Select the Team where you would like to add a Private Channel to and then click on the Properties “…”
From the drop-down menu, click on Add Channel.
Provide a name for the new Channel the change the Privacy of the channel to “Private – Only accessible to a specific group of people within the team”.
Click on Next to continue.
Click on “This team is not searchable and discoverable”, this will further add some addition privacy and no one in the organisation will be able to search for the Team.
Once done click on Create
On the next step add the members who you would like to have in the Private Channel.
Once you have added the Members, the Channel will create and you will now notice on the new Channel that a Lock is next to is.
This a how you can quickly and easily create a new Private Channel in a Team.
